About Us
Faithbeyond Farm is family owned and run by Francis and Elizabeth. We are both immigrants from Kenya. We have been practicing organic agriculture for the last 7 years. We trained with Seattle Tilth’s Incubator Program, Auburn Farmworks, for 5 years then transitioned to our own leased land at Shared Soil in Enumclaw. We currently farm 1.5 acres and specialize in mixed vegetables. Our mission is to be a solution to the health issues facing today’s families by providing healthy, locally grown foods.
Practices
We embrace organic and sustainable farming practices, including crop rotation, cover cropping, composting manure, green manure, and OMRI certified chicken fertilizer. Weed management is done by hand with a push behind tiller and landscape fabric on long season vegetables like summer squash and tomatoes. We use physical barriers and OMRI approved pesticides, like neem oil, to manage pests.
