Ice Aged products are artisanally crafted in small batches using only local, Alaska Grown meats and high-quality spices, and made with intention, precision, patience and attention to detail. The business was inspired on owner Sunny Castillo's trips to the old world where she discovered the many varieties of dry cured meats. Her curiosity for learning more about these traditional cured meats took her to Italy where she learned the art of curing and aging following the traditional methods used on Italian salami. She now combines the new and old world using modern and traditional techniques. She strongly believes that sustainability starts at the local level and that supporting our local farmers should be a high priority.
