About Us
Fresh International Gardens (FIG) is a refugee-run agricultural co-op, founded in 2007 by Catholic Social Services' Refugee Assistance and Immigration Services (RAIS). The program’s goal is to help new Alaskans develop English-language and small business skills, access fresh vegetables, and earn supplemental income. At every step, FIG aims to promote wellbeing in refugee communities. As part of their job readiness program, FIG creates a variety of globally inspired wholesale products. Each product is inspired by and/or made by FIG program participants.
