Jana Harris and Mark Bothwell have owned their 20 acre farm in the Cascade foothills for three decades. They are located on the south-facing slope of the Skykomish River valley, safely above the flood-plain, hence their name.

High & Dry Farm is Certified Organic. We employ natural and low-till methods that sustain healthy soil biology. Healthy soil produces vibrantly flavored and nutrient-rich vegetables and fruit. Our farming practices combine the scientific sensibility of Mark, a PhD molecular biologist, with the spiritual sensibility of Jana, an extensively published poet. Calling our approach sustainable tells only half the story. Our soil has become richer and more productive year-by-year, for over 30 years.
