Radicle Roots Farm is a small sustainable market garden growing produce on less than one acre. The farm is located in Snohomish, WA on a rich sandy loam nestled between the Pilchuck River and Centennial Trail. Our mission is to strengthen our local food system by growing the most nutritious and flavorful produce while stewarding the land for generations to come. Established in 2015 by James Berntson in Central Oregon, 2018 was our first year on permanent land back in our hometown. We specialize in baby greens, roots and lettuce with the highest standard of quality and clean packaged product.

From the beginning we have sought to create the healthiest soil possible. Every year, guided by soil tests we invest large sums of money on compost, organic amendments and minerals to create the most biologically active and well balanced soil. We create permanent beds and practice minimal tillage to create a deep rich soil horizon that grows vibrant healthy plants. We never use synthetic fertilizers or pesticides and source only non GMO seeds. At less than one acre in cultivation most tasks are done by hand, but we do utilize some incredible time saving tools such as the paperpot transplanter, precision seeders and a greens harvester which allow our small farm to be lean and efficient without compromising on quality. We love working with people who share our passion for fresh local food and hope you'll taste the difference in our thoughtfully grown artisan produce.
